Terms
& Conditions: While
we hope you enjoy your experience, we must draw your attention to the
following information: From
herein: The
person hiring the services of Pinked by Berkshire Limos will be referred
to as the “Client.” Pinked
by Berkshire Limos will be referred to as the “Company.” The
Services of Pinked by Berkshire Limos will be referred to as the
“booking.” Ø
A deposit of £50 (full payment if
within 7 days) is required when confirming your booking. Ø
A deposit of £100 (full payment if
within 30 days) is required for weddings. Ø
A refund (less £50 deposit) will only
be given if a cancellation is received in writing more than 7 days prior
to the hire. Ø
A refund (less £100 deposit) will only
be given if a cancellation is received in writing more than 28 days
prior to the wedding hire.
Ø
The
client is liable for full payment of any balances 14 days prior to their
event Ø
The booking is accepted based on the
times and itinerary stated on the booking confirmation.
We may invoice the client or deduct by credit card for additional
time at our standard hourly rate. Ø
For the consideration of other clients,
passengers are NOT permitted to smoke in any of our vehicles. Ø
The company does not permit the taking
of any illegal substances or partaking of any illegal activities whilst
in the vehicle, failure to abide by this condition will result in the
immediate termination of the hire without compensation. Ø Chewing Gum may not be consumed inside any vehicle. Ø
The client expressly accepts that
except in cases of an emergency, only the chauffeur may open and close
doors, this is a safety precaution to minimise the risk of accidents and
damage to the vehicle. The company will not be held responsible for
accidents caused as a consequence of the client or his/her party failing
to adhere to this condition and the client accepts full responsibility
for any damage to the vehicle and or any third party as a result of the
client or client’s party failing to adhere to this condition. Ø
The client is fully responsible for the
conduct of all passengers and is liable for any damage caused both
inside and outside the vehicle by the client or a member of his or her
party, howsoever caused. This includes incitement or behaviour resulting
in damage to the vehicle or its contents by a third party. The client
expressly agrees to be held liable for the retail cost of any repair as
a consequence of any damage caused. The client further agrees that the
company may at its entire discretion determine the company who will
affect the repairs. Furthermore, the client shall be responsible for
payment of a fixed rate, which shall be determined by the company, at
its sole discretion for the period during which the vehicle cannot be
used as a consequence of said damage and repairs. That notwithstanding,
the client shall also be responsible for any further losses, which are
incurred as a result of lost bookings. Ø
We reserve the right to invoice or
charge the clients credit/debit card for any repairs, replacements, or
valeting costs arising from damage to the vehicle or its fixtures caused
by the client or passengers. Ø
Where the company supplies
complimentary drinks, these must be consumed in the vehicle and may not
be removed for any reason whatsoever. In the event that drinks are
removed, then the company may at its sole discretion, recover the
replacement cost from the client. The company will not allow red wine to
be consumed in the vehicle at any time owing to the potential damage to
the interior as a consequence of spillage. Ø
The chauffeur may refuse to transport
passengers or luggage if the vehicle is overloaded and may terminate the
booking if the client or passengers cause excessive delays, are
disorderly or, in the chauffeur’s judgement, are unfit to travel. Ø
Passengers are required to wear seat
belts where fitted Ø
In the unlikely event that we are
unable to complete the booking for reasons beyond our control, an
alternative car may be offered or full refund given.
Beyond this the company will not be liable. Ø
Although we will endeavour to meet
deadlines The Company accept no responsibility for any delays, however
caused. Ø
No responsibility will be accepted for
restrictions relating to vehicle access at any location. Ø The copyright of any photographs taken by company drivers will remain the property of the company and may be used for promotional & marketing purposes, if you do not wish your images to be used please notify us in writing by letter or email stating the name & date of your booking. Ø Where complimentary photographs are offered these will be taken when available to do so, and are subject to relevant weather conditions, no charge is made for the initial complimentary photograph, failure on the companies behalf to provide a photograph does not alter any quote/payment made. Ø
Although we will take every care, no
responsibility will be accepted for any loss or damage to luggage or
personal property.
